RULES OF THE 50 CLUB

PURPOSE

The purpose of the 50 Club is to raise funds. The money will be paid into the Jersey Kart and Motor Club LBG bank account and used to help fund the track development, equipment and resources.

 

RULES

  1. For a cost of £10 per month (i.e. per draw) you will be allocated one number between 1 and 50.

  2. A draw will be made every month during the monthly General Committee meeting.

  3. The prizes will total 50% of the monthly income with a minimum monthly prize fund of £80.

  4. This will be apportioned as: 1st prize of 25% (minimum £40), 2nd prize of 15% (minimum £24) and 3rd prize of 10% (minimum £16).

  5. The 100 Club is a private lottery and is open to all members, family and friends of the Jersey Kart and Motor Club LBG and cannot be offered to the general public.

  6. Anyone age 18 or over can join.

  7. Payments must be made by monthly standing order.

  8. One month’s notice is required for cancellation.

  9. Member’s numbers will only be entered if their subscription is up to date.

  10. If a member has no valid reason for missing a payment, their number may be sold to someone on the reserve list.

  11. The draw shall be made by the Chairman of the monthly General Committee meeting.

  12. The prize will be sent by bank transfer direct to the account from which the monthly subscription is received within two weeks of the draw, referencing the winning number.

  13. The name and numbers for each month’s winners will be posted on the Jersey Kart and Motor Club LBG website.

  14. The 50 Club will be run by the Jersey Kart and Motor Club LBG General Committee and in case of any dispute the decision of the Committee is final.

  15. Unless otherwise advised, a member will be deemed to have left the 50 Club if his/her subscription renewal remains unpaid for a period of one month.

  16. If a prize is returned and a winner cannot be contacted, the winnings will be placed into Jersey Kart and Motor Club LBG funds after six months.

  17. The promoter for the Jersey Kart and Motor Club LBG is: Robert Surcouf, Mi-Roca Farm, Rue des Niemes, St Peter, Jersey, JE3 7FF.

  18. The Jersey Kart and Motor Club LBG registers annually with the Jersey Gambling Commission for each calendar year and no tickets can be sold or monies can be received for events in the following year until that Registration comes into effect.
